Bix'n Andy triggers

#1 Postby Julian D » Sun May 27, 2018 6:23 am

Does anyone have any info on the new triggers to suit Barnard P's ?

I know they are out there, they had them at a recent shot show over in the states, and just came across a pic of one hanging off a Barnard.

Do we have a dealer here in Oz ?

Hi Julian
I contacted the US agent when the Shot Show was on.
With current legislation in US and pricing at low margin the retail I worked out was around $800 AUD so I left it there. I had to pay $350USD to register in US for export plus buy 5 units minimum at very small discount to the US retail price. Plus export costs, plus shipping, plus clearing this end, plus GST. Also earliest availability was around now as I recall?

However we will soon have a locally made trigger of very high quality!
Refer to Steve Laz post in the NQRA Queens post.

I think they are available through Dave Kerr in WA.

The Barnard triggers should be available in June, I received an email from Andy Atzl about them a couple of months ago.

Thank you all.
Shane, I was chatting to someone about the new triggers from FNQ yesterday, they certainly sound like the go.
But I made the mistake of reading a few reviews of the BnA triggers, and now I have to try one......
Nothing wrong with the Barnard triggers, I am just a tinkerer .

I had Matt Peroz fit one to my Barnard s (rem clone) and it is as good as i expected. He had to use a jewel hanger as the action was 'modified' to use the old Davis trigger.

Not wanting to take anything away from the FNQ trigger, its a very nice piece of work.
There is a Barnard trigger being made in QLD in dual stage and single stage versions. The single stage specifically for F Class with a pull range in the 100g to 500g area. I hope to be taking a single stage version to QRA Queens for people to try. I'm already using the forerunner to the new design and find it to be excelent.
@ $450 and $400 respectively they may be worth waiting for.
