Which F Class Stock Design

I make the odd Timber F Class stock, and I have some spare bits and pieces on hand and propose to make one "spec build". It will be made from AA Grade bonded marine ply, for a RH Barnard model P and will have a Vee Block bedding.
Question 1, which would be more popular...a "low boy" 3 inch forend stock for F Open, or a F Std / F/TR style to be used with a BiPod?
Question2, which is more popular, a thumbhole or conventional grip?

Sort of interested in what people are using these days.

I'll probably get shot down for this, but personally the thumbhole stock, to me, is a step backwards for comfortable positioning and trigger control.

I've started seeing people remove the pistol grip altogether and just "pinch" the trigger and trigger guard. It makes sense to me to have no contact on the stock (cheek, hand, shoulder), but what would I know, I shoot TR

For me Bob,

I would go with a low boy 3 " forend stock with a conventional grip,

and use it for F Standard.

My feelings at the moment.

Bob if you can make and F/TR stock that is light and with stiff fore-end I know there would be demand for that.
most stocks available are 1.5KG plus so something that is lighter the build could put more into the barrel.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I have managed to make a stock that came in at 1 Kg. but I had to use carbon fibre down the barrel channel to make it stiff enough. Also used Al pillars in lieu of a vee block to save weight.
