So given availability of budget, which action would you base your dream Target Rifle build on and why?
- Barnard P
- RPA Quadlock
- CG Inch
.. or something else?

If I was starting over again, the Barnard P would be the only logical choice.

Close enough to local for parts availability
    Excellently crafted
    Reasonably priced
Understood by every reputable gun plumber in Oz
First choice of all the top level competitors
Outstanding interchangeability of components & stocks

I was lucky enough to get to have a shoot with a new rpa quadlock round action in a very shiny alloy stock last week end and it was nice, very nice to shoot. But, I've got to agree with John, I like the basis that the Barnard is built on. Very simple, but extremely well built components. Even their trigger is very easy to use and adjust. If you have a look at another thread on this forum about the equipment that the f open boys used at Sydney, all the Barnard actions still had the factory trigger. That's got to tell you something.
