Tom Lowndes Passing

Tom Lowndes aka "The Gnome" peacefully passed away this morning with his family by his bedside.

Tom was one of the characters of the sport and his humour and good natured competitive spirit were known Australian wide. Tom and wife Elly were great supporters not only of F Class but also of a myriad of prizemeetings they attended and often donated prizes to the lesser grades.

Tom's passing will be felt by many in the movement. At this time no date is set for a service however it will possibly be held on Thursday in Wodonga.
