Fitting Rear Peep

#1 Postby Acco » Wed Sep 12, 2018 8:01 pm

I Have a few questions on fitting a rear peep to a Lithgow LA 102 .308. As I don’t really want to drill the action is there any adapters to fit not a picatinny rail to suit “T MAC” sight adjuster. (Excuse my terminology as I am new to the seen.) Are there any other options to fit my rear peep that won’t cost a fortune? I was considering cutting down a heavily made scope ring and trying to get a mount plate brought or made, that will do the job bolted to the cut down scope ring. What are your thoughts please

You'd probably be beter off selling the tmac and buying a top mount warner or an rpa sight. It'd work out cheaper as they just screw to your scope rail.
Have you had the barrel turned down to accept the front sight mount?
Scott.

Thanks Scott, it is getting a new barrel shortly and will be configured to suit a front peep.
Not really in the situation to buy one off the net and hope for the best.
