Kongsberg Targets

Post by David C »

We are looking at ways of improving the service costs and time taken in keeping the Kongsberg target to a high standard of accurateness. As we are finding that the targets to work accurate the sound chamber can't be compromised with holes that let wind and noise in from the outside . Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Dave, we have sourced materials down here quite cheap. We start next week on our target work and I think will be testing next weekend if you want to come down on the Sunday.

We glue thin insertion rubber to the back of the rear coreflute, and also to the rear of the coreflute target face. this aids in keeping things together for longer and also keeping wind out of the chamber.
