A little bit of success, the powers gone to your head and now you want to be able to set an arm chair up on the mound, recliner perhaps?..... No Cam you have to lie down!.....we're not doing another discipline.

Actually Barry I wouldn’t mind having the National badge titled something slight different
Gov Gen National Queens Series.
As I'm not a regular I wouldnt have the right to push my point of view

May work with the current GV, but, there is no guarantee that future GV's will be supportive! There has been more than one occassion when a person in office has declined patronage. Better keeping the status qo.

I'm not a regular either Richard - can't spend ALL my life at Belmont and I really like to attend the QRA Queens if I can. The name is not greatly important to me either as long as it's the same for all but I took great exception to the idea of a Queens Prize for some but not others - as I gather you did too (do correct me if I'm wrong in this).

Razer good point and something that would need to be taken into account what about the fitzy
Barry I totally agree my contact on the NRA board said they hadn’t heard any such thing so one can only presume it was a concocted story to justify the action.

BP knew all about it ( post 17/12/14 ) so obviously it was discussed at board level??

After our Saturday shoot it was announced that the NRAA president has stood down due to health reasons.
Also that S&T can now put what ever wording they like on their badges .
That's as close to admitting "we stuffed up" as we will ever see
jt.

Would be nice to see some documentation, minutes maybe as to what was discussed etc, but we are unlikely to see that. Freedom of Information request?
Cheers
Danny.
Ps looking forward to the Vic Queens.

Oh to be a fly on the wall hey Danny!
Although we are probably entitled to it... we will be left to draw our own conclusion, which will no doubt be far more exiting and closer to the truth!

There has been a new members update (#41) published but not up on the NRAA website as yet which broadly states that the Queens Badge wording issue will be up to the State Associations. Basically means that the (supposedly) NRAA post on this forum could not have been correct & as I stated in response to that post, the NRA of GB could not care less what we colonials do! My opinion & 2 cents worth only.

Good out come guys, doesn't really matter what we call something John K. Main thing is we all get treated equally.
A big thank you to those TR shooters that joined our petition. Some very well known shooters amongst them.
United we stand.
Cheers

Well said Danny. Let's move on with the positive vibes.
Don't let the armchair shooters drag the sport down.
