hi all,
i belive this puts a spanner in the works for all the anti gun lobbiests???, it is possible to post firearm parts with aussie post as i have just received a replacement barrel via aust post last week. the thing is to have it in plain wrapping and not with the gundealers trading name as the return address. my barrel was posted from qld to vic and i recieved it within 3 days of the postage date. the trader just used [u]his name and his trade address.
makes you wonder how they (aust post) plan to govern or control these new laws they are implamenting.

Hi Stu

If this barrel only came from Qld to Vic, that's not a problem, as far as I'm aware there is no restriction on posting firearms parts within Australia, only on having them posted to Australia from elsewhere, go figure. :-k
