So, who's going to have another go at the electronic targets. I missed out on the national queens because of work, so I'm in for the 5 days.

Re: QRA QUEENS.
While the FCWC has been taking our attention, the QRA Queens series has started. Small F-Open and F/TR fields as you would expect. However some interesting things happening all the same. Our NRAA CRO is leading F-Std A after day 1 of the Duncan! And a couple of accomplished F-Std shooters have switched to F-Open, being Alan Seaman and Ernie Mace.

Maybe people are voting with their feet, between the fall out over fast precision firing at the Nationals and the method of squadding being used??
Just saying.

Well let's see what happens in the Queens, but in the Duncan, F-Std numbers are up on last year, and F-Open the same as. I think we need to wait and see what the shooters say about fast shooting and squadding after the Queens.

Steve,
Well done in the 1000yd Challenge.
Just looked at the 900yd scores, and watched Corby shoot a 46 . Highest scores in both F-Class Stds and F/TR of 53, and 56 in F-Open. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves, and don't blame the conditions .

Re: QRA QUEENS.
A big congratulations to the winners Adrian Siebel from a persistent Alan Seaman in FOpen and Andrew Blaiklock in F/TR.
FSd A was another win to Nick Williamson with FStd b taken out by Paul Finger also from the Gemfields.
A very enjoyable shoot conducted through conditions from mild to wild under beautiful Qld sunny skies and with winds that tested everyone.
Great to see new faces enjoying their first Queens!
Details are on the Hexta web site and hopefully will be carried onto the NRAA system this time so that gradings will be relevant.

Conditions obviously very testing in the latter stages. Its a pity that it didn't get much attention here, but understandable with the huge happenings in Canada. Congrats to all the winners .

Well done Steve. Norm's been shooting well too. So it would be great to see you at Moe again and we will institute the "Nelson Challenge" and watch you two guys slug it out.
