Queen’s Day 1
Another great day weather wise.
Light breezes blowing from every direction but not as tricky as yesterday (for now) but seems to be building up.
Quite a few 60s on the board.

Re: Vic Queen’s 2021
Hi
Watching the scores from afar with an appreciation of the standard of shooting, but would love to get some information on caliber used ie 284, 7 saum actions ect and if I am really lucky what the FTR guys are using.
fingers crossed.
Thanks

At least 5 of the top 8 in F-Open after day 1 are running either 7 SAUM's or improved versions of it.

Queen’s day 1 done
The day ended up reasonably tricky with quick changes in wind direction with some steady patches mixed in for a lucky few.
Today’s winners:
FStd A -David Li
FStd B - Jeff Makin
F Open- Frog Lowe
FTR - Mick Punturiero
Frog didn’t drop a point!

I think most the FTR shooters were using a shortened 30/06
There was at least one 6mm on the range today in Open

Queen’s Day 2
Another cracking day weather wise
Conditions are a bit fickle again with good patches here and there.
A few 60s have been shot -Alister L with a pair of 60:7s
I did manage a demoralising 59:9
Just about to break for lunch with 900yds after
900 nearly done
The punishment has continued
The odd 60 with most leaking a few points

Queen’s final day
The day has started with the mildest wind of the comp.
Not suitable for those needing to gain points.
The top 2 in open after the 900 are only separated by one X

Re: Vic Queen’s 2021
Well that is another great Victorian Queens run and won. Once again the weather was perfect though winds sometimes a little tricky. The target pullers did a great job and it was all run smoothly with good prizes for all disciplines.
Congrats to the following discipline winners.
Alistair Lamour in F Open
Jim Jeffrey TR
Jason ORouke F std
Mick Punturiero F/TR
I look forwards to next year

I dont think anyone got around to making up a list as there were quite a few of us (31) spread around the range.
I do know that in the front of the pack were quite a few SAUMs and maybe some 284s in the longs.

A big thanks to Albert for all his efforts from being the entertaining MC to organising bargain projectiles and handing out free cakes on the range!
Another Queen’s on the list of must do’s for those preferring manual targets
