stuart shooters are consumers and is it not unreasonable for them to expect and receive appropriate warranty and service back up and support. to outlay thousands of dollars for a scope in this day and age and not receive a lifetime warranty is not acceptable in my opinion. forget the spin doctoring ...

barrel temperature,rate of fire, load intensity, calibre,barrel type-size/profile,rifling type etc, would all be factors in my opinion. too many variables to consider when trying to come up with a set ratio of throat erosion. if it is of interest, on the sunday, there is also the 1000yd BR event.

for light gun ( 17 lb limit), roughly 20 rounds for the match and sighters and a few to get on paper prior to the event.

heavy gun (over 17 lbs) roughly 35 rounds all up.
