Re: Quickload 2209 vs H4350

Re: 6 mm Dasher

Interesting Frank, most dashers I know of use around 36gr h4350, 33gr varget and 31.5 or thereabouts of h4985 all for around 3000fps. As I do, but I wonder what the actual pressure is that we are running at? I would say it is likely that we are lucky we are using strong brass in strong actions. I d...

Re: Vic Police Rifle Club OPM 2017

It is great to hear of a club putting on something different, with 3x1000yd ranges. =D> =D> =D>

It is also great to hear they enticed PRS and practical rifle shooters by allowing muzzle brakes in this special event. =D> =D> =D>

Re: stole panda .223 for fclass

Just checking, do you already have a front rest? If not, then F/TR might be cheaper to get into as a good bipod is much cheaper than a good pedestal rest. If you are thinking of F/TR, then maybe opt for a 7" twist barrel so you have the option of using 90gn bullets RDavies, I have a Farley and...

Great to see a longer range, longer shot string OPM being put on instead of the usual 10 shots at 3,5,600

Re: Somchem S365 South Africa , Next World Champs

Cartridge wise, it wont be any good if you cant train with it in Aus and the Open team will no doubt want consistency amongst all its members. I doubt we'll see anything different to or bigger than a 7SAUM in the future Aus FO Team. Individuals might be interesting to see though. There's a few inno...

Re: Bisley style shooting

While officiating at the Oceania Games (the shakedown for the Commonwealth Games next year), I have had the opportunity to discover what time allowance is made for pair shooting at that level. Considering the shooter, marking & scoring, they squad on the basis of 1 minute per shot plus an allow...

I whole heartedly disagree. If you get a chance try it first.
