Re: .308 Headspace

if you want a basic idea get a piece or pieces of sticky tape and stick to the back of the case. use a razor blade to cut the tape to the exact size of the case head. keep layering until it becomes firm and then be a sure base to shoulder. Best way is to do moderate load with a hard jam so the case ...

Re: F-Class World Championships 2017

I Would have to echo Scott's sentiment here, it was a fantastic range, the facilities were great and the military personal were quite welcoming/forgiving all things considered. If you take into account probably over 500 civies "invaded' their base with all manner of firearms and vehicle, and t...

Shane I'd love a new swaro but they are just too far out of my budget for the amount I will be using it.

Re: F-Class World Championships 2017

Well back home and the dust has settled, caught up on some sleep and domestic duties and let it all sink in! An amazing trip with some fantastic people. I hadn't had a huge amount to do with a lot of the guys prior to the team but we all seemed to work well together and have made some good mates out...

Re: Canadian F-Class Nationals 2017

Great to see a few of the boys and girls near the pointy end! bloody good work Rod and Laz! I'm taking my time with accurate plots to evaluate loads etc but it does hurt the wind reading. I think a fair few other Aus shooters are doing the same so we are probably shooting better than our positions w...

Re: NRAA Queens

I think something has to be said about all the negative and derogative comments that have been made on these pages and other forum posts about "Machine Gunning". People seem to think that it is easy to "machine gun" and that somehow one gets an unfair advantage from that. If you...

Re: NRAA Queens

Congratulations to all the winners! It was a very competitive event :-) This was my first major event shot on ET's and I prefer manual targets. I like being able to see the plots after each range and we didn't experience and technical difficulties but I prefer having a spotter on the target.. Rapid ...

Re: Coatings for dies to reduce clearances

The bigger point is you paid good money for a premium product that isn't up to spec and now you need to spend more money to make it rite. That's the part that sucks! I recently purchased a Harrels "precision" 7/8 reloading press and when it arrived the ram looked to be run over with a 80 g...

Re: 7mm SAUM Starting loads

Just be careful with 2209 powder batches. I have 2 batches that are pushing around 2920 with 53.5 to 54.2gr. Much over 55 is defiantly on the upper end and I'll be well over 3000 by 56gr. That is in multiple brands of barrels.

Re: South Australian State Championships - the "Queens"

i just don't get it,on one hand everybody claims that target rifle and f class don't integrate enough and on the other hand you guys want squadding so you can get a better score, buggered if i know. Squadding has nothing to do with "better sores". All squadding does is ensure those that a...
