They are bringing in alpha munitions brass in 6xc with small primer pockets and other target shooting / PRS calibers. Supposed to be very good quality

How juicy is 27gr? This is in a varmint rifle so it probably wont handle what a good BR action would

6ppc loads

So I bought a 6ppc varmint gun and im just wondering if anyone with some experience loading for the ppc can get me off to a good start. Id prefer to stick with ADI powder and already keep 2207 and 2208 on the shelf but would add another if needed. Ill be running 55-65gr varmint bullets. Currently li...

Re: Grains or grams?

From whay ive seen 1 kernal of 2209 is worth about 1fps in a SAUM. Is it worth trying to weigh to a fraction of a fps?

Re: Shooters Mat

Get one with a vinal / poly underside. Helps prevent grass, prickles and dirt sticking to the mat

Re: WTB Sako A1

Tim i think what you really need is a 17 fireball :-) I had one built on an s491 by ziersch custom rifles with a pencil thin barrel as thats what he had on the shelf and the action / stock is fairly heavy. Anyway with stuff all load development the thing shoots 1/2" with a 12x scope and 1kg tri...

Re: WTB Sako A1

That is basically what barossa is talking about timmy. 222 rem mag is what the 204 was based on. 222 rem mag AI is a bloody lot of juice in a 223 boltface rilfe.

Re: 7mm SAUM Rechamber/Barrel Life

I reckon you need to be prepaired to do a re chamber around 900. If it looks and shoots great then leave it but I see my x count tapering at around 800. Some say they get WAY more than that but as Phil says, I wouldnt want to be attending a major event. Club shoots you can afford to roll the dice an...

Re: Silver Mountain SOLO ET's

Hi Daniel Just read your post here and accurate shooter, just wanting to clarify if you’ve done any testing of other systems? Or if your claims are just assumptions? Not particularly interested in a debate, I looked at the SOLO and ended up with a shotmarker Hi Simon, for all sorts of reasons I wis...

Re: Bullet Selection and Considerations (308)

Basically the lighter the bullet the lowere the ballistic coefficient (BC) ie the lower the BC the more air effects it either by slowing it down or pushing it sideways by the wind. Think of it like a mack truck vs an F1 car. The mack truck has a low BC and a lot of wind resistance and thr F1 car is ...
