Re: 6 mm Dasher

You might try 2206H. My latest two bartlien 5R barrels would not shoot 2208 or RL15, but love 2206H. Start at 31.5 and work up. Mine settled on 32.0 for 108 Bergers and 32.2 for Berger 105 hybrid. A clubmate with same barrel and chamber is shooting Berger VLD with 2206H with sucess.

Re: Optics Question for Peter (Wizard) Smith

Thanks Peter. Very informative and I think will be helpful for others as well. However, i will go get my eyes examined to make sure I do not have a cataract in my aiming eye.

Optics Question for Peter (Wizard) Smith

Peter, my eyes are old and buggered. What sort of eye glasses do I need for viewing through scope? Close up viewing similar to reading, middle or long vision?

How far from the eye is the scope image?

Hope you understand what I am getting at

Re: F-Class World Championships 2017

Could the team captain or manager give us a rundown on the sponsors and their contribution. All things being equal it would be nice for shooters to support thesorganisations when considering future purchases

Re: Sub 7mm choice

A chap from Canberra, Ian Lample, built a 6.5 Banshee. I am not sure, but somewhere over 60 grains of powder. I personally witnessed the test firing. A big bang, a streak of grey, and "poof" of grey "smoke" 100 yards or so in front of the firing point. Sorta feel you would experi...

Re: Sub 7mm choice

Back in the early 2000's, F Class was getting a move on. We were shooting on the 10 ring target, and the 6.5 caliber was the "go to". People tried everything. Long story short:- 1. Heavy 155 grain bullets by Lapua were a failure 2. Big overbore cases were a failure due to either bullet blo...

Re: New Aussie Supplier of Bore Care Products

Our Club members are now using these products and feedback is very good. We have made a bulk purchase and now have stocks of all the HELMAR gun care products in our Club Stores cupboard.
We are pleased to support an Australian manufacturer, good product, good price and good service.

Re: Precision Rifle Series is here!!! And It Looks to be BIG

Sounds like a great sport which should attract the "young blokes (and gals)". The only thing that will hold it back in some States of OZ is the use of steel targets. Having recently been through the Range RE- Approval process in NSW, we had to forego any type of metal targets, and even had...

Re: priming tool

Gee Whiz, I only bought a couple of new tools as a "birthday present" for myself. The RCBS I had was a very good tool, but over time I lost the small rifle primer "bits" which I now need. Seriously, I have 2 vintage Lee autoprime tools with small rifle "bits" only, and ...

Re: priming tool

Lewis, what did you choose? I was watching this thread as I was also looking to upgrade my tools. I almost purchased the 21st Century, but in the end decided to get 2 K&M's, one each for .223 Rem and 6 Dasher. They arrived today from BRT, and I am very pleased with the product, well made and ver...
