Dasher Loads

I use 30.0 of 2208 with a 105 Lapua Scenar (jammed hard into lands) and a CCI BR4 for fireforming. Match load is 33.3 Gr 2208, CCI BR4 Primer with 105 Lapua Scenars loaded 10 thou off the lands.

Remember, back off and work up. These loads are specific to my rig.

Have fun

7mm 08

I believe that Raeburn Trindall of the Canberra Rifle Club is using a 7mm08 in F Open. He wrote an article some months back in the ATR Mag. Sorry, I don't have a contact number for him.

ALDI has a beaut stainless steel electronic vernier on special tomorrow 25 May at 9.00AM. I purchased these last year. Very good quality. Saw same product in a Canberra gun shop for circa $90.

Be early, last year they sold out in 10 minutes.

Burris Rings

The Burris rings may be a solution, but depending on your action type, you may not be able to get the scope mounted far enough forward to give the correct eye relief when shooting prone using Weaver type "off the shelf" mounts. Most purpose built rails will allow the scope to be mounted well forward...

6.5 "somewhere on the board"

I seem to remember a "good old 6.5 x 55" being 2nd overall after a 500m shootoff with a 6mmBR. Still life in the "old swede" yet.

"SUPERCHEAP" Auto shops sell the stuff - not expensive I think from memory about $15 for a "gallon" size bottle.

139 Scenars - moly

Try Mick Helm from Southern Highlands club. He may have 2x100. He has switched to a 6 BR. He lives near PICTON NSW and is listed in the phone book. Also ask him for contact at "Stagearms" as they may have some in stock.
