Re: Help... Hero to zero in one range

My wife is currently shooting the same action and is getting very similar group sizes and vert. We are getting as much trigger time as possible but there is a lot to take in when you start. I have also been shooting FTR which I prefer but we like the 6BR for it mild manners. I haven't come across t...

Re: NSW F-Class Association Match

Was an interesting shoot, I really enjoyed it. It was little hot and dusty but good honest fun and great company. Might take the monday off next time. A credit to the members at Ungarie range for keeping the range going all the years. The food was very taste and well prepared. Was a highlight to be...

Re: Blown primers

Hi just wondering why im starting to blow primers, using cci 400 , didnt have the same problem with br4 primers , is my load to hot or just soft primers? As far as I know, the Br4 primers have thicker metal in the body compared to the CCI 400’s,25 thousand of an inch to 20 thousand of an inch.To me,...

Re: FCWC 2021

I am sure this issue has been raised with the best of intentions, however I would urge care and diplomacy before Australia becomes the nation seen as trying to jump the queue as well as bad mouthing another nations security

Re: Sierra 155gn MKBT

first of all your way under the minimum load for 06h which is 43 gr second of all try the 155gr hbc. i have a mate with a howa varmint in 308 that shoots hbc's incredibly well with a 15 thou jump. Good advice above, what the Hornady projectiles measure has no bearing on what other other brands of pr...

Re: Looking for feedback

I hope the long range event gets off the ground,as the South Australian Match Rifle Championships are on the 25th and 26th of August,I can't see myself making two trips to Lower Light in a month.

Re: Looking for feedback

Jase, Sounds good. One thing to consider might be to change to 20 shots for Bisley, and 15 shots for string? 20 shot shoots are not kind to barrels, but Bisley style may slow things down somewhat. Alan, Is there any solid documentation to support the belief that twenty shot strings are measurably m...

It was more a general remark as many are much slower as mentioned 1.12 used to be the norm. Given they are again normally shooting the 55gr range projectiles. Yes again not rea...
