Re: NSW Queens

38B44026-1B59-46B8-86DE-E5C5558C9F26.jpeg Mr Hollywood had the paparazzi following him around. 4 corners were doing a report on diversity in our sport, focussing on women and youth. Hopefully it will be a good bit of PR for us! Jeeze, any other time 4 corners has been chasing me with a camera, my l...

Re: The Future

Many good suggestions in here, some easy and workable and some not. I have only one simple suggestion which will work. WE need information flyers and posters at gun shops like SSAA does. How about some of you go to a gun shop in your area who doesn't know you and ask where can you shoot long range? ...

Re: How would a Prize Meeting go on grand final Day.

What's 'footy'? If it's rugby league, rugby union, AFL or football, I'll be on the range. Yep, what Tim said. I would much rather shoot. I just hope that if someone is holding a 3 day OPM, they do something other than the standard 2+10 at 500,500,600. It would be great if they would try some pairs ...

Re: Given Current Component Availability...

So for every box of Bergers we buy, we will be supporting the competition? To support the team, Berger Bullets will donate $1.00 for every box of 7mm 184gr F-Open Hybrid bullets sold towards U.S. Team expenses for the upcoming 2021 F-Class World Championships in South Africa. Time we got serious ab...

Re: Given Current Component Availability...

Thinking outside the box a little. How do the 90’s go in a 22BR?? The 22BR with 90gn pills punches above its weight. When i first started in F class I used a 22BR to win a few queens and scoped quite a lot of 60.9 and 60.10s with it. I still have a slower twist 22BR running 75gn pills and it has al...

Re: Given Current Component Availability...

If you're looking for a challenge as well as something cheap to run don't discount the 223Rem. With the goal of conserving both projectiles and barrel life in my 308W FTR and match rifle barrels, for supply and demand mean that even 30 cal projectiles are expensive, unavailable or both depending on...

For those stuck without components, why not try Reloadinginternational.com then you can get pretty much anything you want from USA and they help with the paperwork.

Re: Berger Hunting VLD vs Match VLD

As you would do with any different batches of bullets, it would still be an idea to just run 5 of each over a chronograph so you can keep your same speed. Even with the exact same bullets, just different batch numbers, the velocities can change, sometimes enough to move you out of the node.

Re: News Flash - World Champ to build a Creedmore

Rod goes out socialising with his friends then the whole world knows what caliber the Aussie team is taking to South Africa. Good one Having to sport a man bun may also be part of the selection process by the look of it. Well I do like Chai latte and can rock skinny jeans but I lack the long flowin...

Re: The effect of too much twist and speed

Walker Flatline will be OK if you are not shooting under ICFRA rules ICFRA rule F2.20. Ammunition may be commercial or handloaded but loaded in a manner consistent with the ammunition industry’s accepted standards; must be safe to fire in the rifle for which it is intended and must meet in all resp...

Re: 300 WSM loads

To answer my own question, absolutely no pressure signs at all with a node in the 66s. so i will try low 66s at 800m on saturday. recoil is stout in a 7.5 kg rifle, noticeably more than the saum at these velocities (assuming around 2800, no chrono). That would be "stout" in a 7.5kg rifle....
