Re: Tikka T3 actions for F class standard

I’ve gone from trued Remington, to a pierce temp clone, then full stainless lbrp multiflat, then Barnard and now back to tikka. Only due to being an adult apprentice and money is tight. In all honesty I could run a hv on the tikka which might be less weight, but this rifle balances out really nice ...

Re: 6.5 Creedmore and Re16?

Shane I’ve had no great results with the 136 scenar L, 45 through 20 off lands with 2209. Do you have any info on the 2 promising loads you would like to share ? Cheers Mozzie Mozzie I did not get anything to write home about with 136L either. Both the 120L and 123 are looking excellent with the La...

Re: 6.5 Creedmore and Re16?

I may be wrong, but would the small primers in the lapua brass, drop the velocity. I was chatting to a guy at Raglan and he suggested that using magnum primers may offer an extra 50fps over a normal match primer, though I haven't had the chance to test this yet. I have not tested this in the 6.5 CM...

Re: 6.5 Creedmore and Re16?

I use 140gr ELD match in Norma Brass. At the moment I'm using 42.1grs of RL16 and get around 2900fps. The SD is also quite low as well. The hottest load I've tried is 43.2grs and there was no pressure signs so could probably go further. https://sierrabulletsblog.com/2017/01/09/sierra-bullets-6-5-cr...

Re: Benchmark 8208 / 155.5 / 308 FTR

My .02C - my go to powder for 155gr in 308 has been 2206H. I feel 8208 is a tad fast in burn rate.
Any of the heavier pills such as Juggs it becomes 2208 obviously and my opinion on 2208 and 155 is that it is too slow for that combo.

Re: Wellsford Victoria Energy Limit?

Thanks guys
I would really like to attend as I haven't shot the VRA Queens before and manuals and 1000 yards appeal
Unfortunately the dates conflict with a key person away from my business at the same time? Will see?
Any recommendations for handy motels etc?

Wellsford Victoria Energy Limit?

Hi all
Can someone advise me if there is an energy limit on the VRA Wellsford range near Bendigo please?
And if so , what is that limit please?

Will the VRA Queens 2019 be run on manual targets?
Thanks in advance

These are the Rolls Royce of tipping dies in my opinion and this is about half price!
A genuine bargain.
I would buy it but I already have one.

Re: AUSTRALIAN FCWC TEAM SELECTION

Jason, I'm not arguing with Shane's comments. In fact I tried to encourage a post-mortem discussion forum immediately after FCWC 2013. Firstly, the response was not particularly encouraging, and when I offered what was there to the 2017 management to assist in their preparation, the offer was not t...

Re: AUSTRALIAN FCWC TEAM SELECTION

I doubt there were any individual team members reports filed with the NRAA after the conclusion of the last FCWC. There should be a report from each team member with every positive and negative requiring attention for the next team to build upon. Those reports should be part of the consideration of ...
