Re: Given Current Component Availability...

Glad to see your recommendation Peter of the Creedmore! I have just today obtained a T3X CTR 24" t1/8 twist to have trial with on our club days and I could use it for PRS with a suitable scope as well. I am positive it will outshoot the Ruger Precision at a similar price point. Will advise how ...

Re: Reloader 16

Hi Julian
No worries but how do I get it to you?
A few weeks notice and maybe somebody could have brought it south after this weekend ?
I do have Townsville customers be here in a few weeks get it that far south?

Re: Reloader 16

I somehow recall that you are in the Cairns area? This is not a powder I normally stock but Nioa has it on hand and it could be ordered up on one of our normal orders. We do one or two free freight orders per week. Powder usually takes up to a fortnight to arrive after ordering? Powder is obviously ...

Re: New to bench rest shooting

Might I suggest a phone call to forum sponsors CRM gunsports. They helped me into a new nightforce competition scope a few years back. Great price and great service for a customer that was on the opposite side of the country. I would highly recommend the NF competition scope, its what a hell of a l...

Re: Seb PodPad

Beg, borrow or steal a heavy steel plate for Belmont!
Depending on what target you draw the bounce can be incredible!
If you are on a target regularly used for weekend comps then the grass will be short.
Otherwise it can feel like an old innerspring mattress!

Re: Seb PodPad

Shane, what sort of sand are you using to fill to podpad with? Ive just used sand from my local SSAA range. Seems to work well. Would garnet work well do you think? Shaun Currently using sand blasting grit - the black stuff in a 10kg bucket. Very dense and heavy so the pad is quite stable regardles...

Re: Seb PodPad

What I find interesting is that of three very top Australian FTR shooters commenting here, one is against, one is for and the other is for some of the time, with other options depending on the mound surface.I am working on it,used carpet on top of a rubber belting mat,on top of a thick wooden board at...

Re: Seb PodPad

2 shooters, same rifle 4 details, 1 shooter is fairly new and only shot the rifle twice. All details shot off a pod pad with no plate under it, this is just the latest result from this weekend. Last weekend I smacked a 59.9 in at 600, same setup. You are all well over thinking it. I have tried plat...

Re: Bix'n Andy triggers

Hi Julian I contacted the US agent when the Shot Show was on. With current legislation in US and pricing at low margin the retail I worked out was around $800 AUD so I left it there. I had to pay $350USD to register in US for export plus buy 5 units minimum at very small discount to the US retail pr...
