Re: AUSTRALIAN FCWC TEAM SELECTION

Jason, I'm not arguing with Shane's comments. In fact I tried to encourage a post-mortem discussion forum immediately after FCWC 2013. Firstly, the response was not particularly encouraging, and when I offered what was there to the 2017 management to assist in their preparation, the offer was not t...

Re: AUSTRALIAN FCWC TEAM SELECTION

I doubt there were any individual team members reports filed with the NRAA after the conclusion of the last FCWC. There should be a report from each team member with every positive and negative requiring attention for the next team to build upon. Those reports should be part of the consideration of ...

Re: which would you recommend

If you chose to dabble in F Std or F/TR then a 308 would get you started? The 6.5CM will drop you into F Open. Straight into F1 and the above comments totally relevant! We have had many people begin in our Cairns club begin with a Tikka T3 Varmint 308 and with good hand loads have been competitive t...

Re: FS NF 15-55 Comp

$2700 is cheaper than the current NF wholesale price If you bought one for $2750 new then the dealer was chasing cash flow and there was no profit in that deal! NF dealers are running at 10% margins on scopes which is really unsustainable in its own right for small shops. $2700 may be a little high ...

self adhesive target centres

Can someone advise where I can source self adhesive 1000 yard target centers please?

I want to be able to replace the 6 ring and its outer scoring ring along with the X ring together.

Not just the X ring as I have seen available?

Re: NSW Queens

It is 8.00am and the lucky buggers who get to shoot first will have flags which aren’t moving. They are all stretched out to the max. The rain is horizontal as we get ready to start. I’m told it will be 2x10 shot strings instead of 15 shots as the TR shooters took 4 hrs to do a 15 shot stage yester...

Re: Given Current Component Availability...

Glad to see your recommendation Peter of the Creedmore! I have just today obtained a T3X CTR 24" t1/8 twist to have trial with on our club days and I could use it for PRS with a suitable scope as well. I am positive it will outshoot the Ruger Precision at a similar price point. Will advise how ...
