Sad to say Cannon Hill no longer. No more Match Rifle in Brisbane.

Thanks. A shame you can't opt out like you could with the hard copy. I did subscribe to that but haven't bothered with it since it went online.

Just stirring the pot Cliff. I am well aware of how your initial post reads, in closing it asked, "Where else in Australia.......". I simply gave the obvious answer.

See you in Coona.

I was puzzled by this too. They stay in the outbox until the recipient reads it.

Re: promoting the nraa image

Speaking of the magazine - I vaguely recall an email from the VRA telling me NRAA had increased its fees to cover costs associated with the magazine. I didn't keep the email so can't check my memory, can someone set me straight please?

If so it seems a bit odd.

Re: airlines

......You have to understand that airline staff may not be as understanding as us regarding ammunition and may confuse projectiles/bullets as loaded ammunition. Not only airlines Mike. I once had my local police ring me after the post office handed a perfectly legal parcel of bullets over to them. ...

Sad to say Mike that I think they already have equal billing with TR - zero in all cases. Happy to proven wrong.

Re: nraa funding of overseas shooting

Bruce,

Can't comment re TR teams but I've been in overseas MR and F Class national teams and these were self-funded. I'm not sure whether the NRAA paid our entry fee for the '13 FCWC, other members of this forum might rmember.

I agree. The Raglan targets mentioned earlier in this thread work on the same principle and are a joy to operate.

No it isn't, the only cause of any problems is you. I'm with Albert and Jason. My own experience, admittedly some years old now, of shooting and touring afterwards in South Africa has been good.
