Re: tell me about tuners for fclass

In 2015 when Mark F came over here to shoot at Trentham I was very lucky to be making for him on the score card and sat right beside him with my spotting scope through the main shoot. Obviously I watched every shot. I was shooting FTR then but was soon enough to see how far ahead of anyone here tha...

Re: tell me about tuners for fclass

Hahaha, there's a little sarcasm going on in this thread.  Rob and Bruce, I didn't think there was any doubt these days that tuners do work if set up correctly, if the rifles light enough to install one for its class and if the shooters competent and pro-active in using it. A tuners not g...

Re: sara queens

Congrats Tim on your first Queens win. You must feel on top of the world. I know you and Rod are good mates and as a good mate you SHOULD give your buddy plenty of advice to help him improve his game if he wants to be the World Champion one day..

Re: Rifle stock keels??

Because the gun is still gonna track wrong Denis until u get the bag-riding parts of the gun in line. I understand that of a stock thats not straight, maybe something home made. I wouldn't have thought there would be too many out there. Most stocks these days would be professionally made, CNC'd, ac...

Re: Rifle stock keels??

The whole point Brad with an "adjustable keel " is you can correct the angle variations that may exist between the front and back bag-riding sections. Even a very small amount of misalignment between the front and back will compromise the way the gun tracks. The scope cross hairs position...

Rifle stock keels??

G'day All, I've been noticing lately some Bench rest shooters running adjustable keels on the toe of their butt stock. I don't quite understand why you wouldn't just adjust your rear bag for great tracking. I'm sure there's good reason to it since BR is basically the F1 of shooting. I could understa...

Re: Can we shoot ssaa disciplines on an nraa range

I was told recently at our club that in the event of an accident, shooting anything outside of a NRAA discipline would void insurance.

I wont go into it any further but to say that I am sceptical. I'm not in a position to know the facts though.

Re: PRS IS COMING , WE HAVE TO EVOLVE !

600 and 1000y International BR are NRAA disciplines which specifically allow muzzle brakes in Light Gun. So if muzzle brakes are allowed on NRAA ranges for one NRAA discipline why can the rules not be adjusted to suit others and allow membership growth.

While its an extrnal sensor system, that can surely never be a legitinate comparison given the doppler effect in wind? Maybe when we start shooting Queens in doors.
