By far the Best option for $1000 is a secondhand NFBR scope One sold up here for that sort of coin recently and are far superior. Keep an eye at the range and usedguns and here etc. - plenty of guys upgrading to comp scopes and a few around. Get your name out there and one will come

My thoughts are - there is no right and wrong here and it really depends on how the whole package acts together with the shooter. Light stiff stocks can work very well if they are on the right platform and allowed to move backward/track correctly and consistently without imparting a significant reco...

No - you wont get enough in the case. Barely enough room for the 140 class.

start at 36 and work through a ladder to 38 grains and you should find something. It was my go to bullet for the 6.5*47 for a few years I ran 10 thou jump and Br4 primers.

6mm swiss match - great RWS brass and Julie and Cam Mcewen proved it to be an extremely accurate cartridge. There was some outstanding groups shot with their rifle.
