Re: QRA Queen’s

Probably a bit late now but are the progressive results anywhere to be seen on the NRAA site? Might be missing something but I went looking there for progress when Hexta site crashed and couldn't find it.

Re: WTB Shooting Jacket

Barry was good enough to send me the one he had but it ended up being way too small for me - was worth the try - thanks Barry. Think I would be up around a 50 to 52 so a 46 probably won't cut it for me either - thanks for the offer "GC". Went to Walden Miller yesterday and ordered a new on...

WTB Shooting Jacket

Just feeling the water here a bit. Does anybody have a good quality Left Handed Shooting Jacket for sale? I'm in SA so local would obviously be better for sizing etc but happy to work in with interstate if we can make it work.

Thanks.........Jeff.

Re: Annealer Manufacture interest

Have to agree with Peter. We have a "Peterla" annealer and it works like a treat. Auto feed is just not necessary as you have to sit there watching it anyway. Basically it gives you something to do while sipping the coffee. I watched 300 cases being annealed about an hour ago and it was al...

Re: QRA Queens..

Congrats to the Qld boys for their F-TR win and to the SA lads for their fine result in Standard. Looks like it was shared around a bit so it will be good to see how it pans out tomorrow. Good luck to all !!

Re: QRA Queens..

Thanks for that Norm. I actually know that Vic won the 1000 yard match in F-Open by 1 X from SA ( 433.22 to 433.21 ). Qld won FTR from SA ( 422.15 to 414.15 ) And SA won F-Std from NSW ( 414.16 to 412.17 ). A pretty tight contest going on so should be good to see what happens tomorrow. What I was lo...

Re: QRA Queens..

I must be blind but I cannot find today's F-Class Teams match results for the 1000 yard match on the NRAA site. Is it there ??

Hello Lee,

That's good news. They're a great bunch of guys with a lot of experience and I am sure you will learn a lot from them. Look forward to seeing you at the range.

Re: Fresh blood

Hello Lee, Jeff Roberts from the Phoenix Target Rifle Club at Lower Light here. Alan has pretty much said it all. Not sure where you are at with so far. If you have already had a shoot at one of our Clubs on the range but, if you are still looking for somebody to welcome you to the game we would be ...

Re: Annealer Manufacture interest

I'll second that Stu. Received ours from Peter a couple of weeks ago and used it once so far for around a 100 cases. Single feed is no problem - just make a cup of coffee and enjoy it while watching the wheel go 'round. Variable speed control makes the job so simple. Thanks Peter for your efforts an...

Re: Off-Set Stocks

OK - thanks to all who have taken the time to have an input into this question. There is nothing better than getting this sort of feed from those who have already tried it and decided against it. This will save me a lot of work now. Conclusion is: No offset stock, organize stock to be as low as poss...

Re: Off-Set Stocks

Thanks Dave and Tony, I'm starting to get the drift here. Will get back tomorrow night with a summary of my learnings. SA Teams - Sorry Tony, I'm not of a standard to make such an Event - too many better prepared guys around to compete against down here. Besides that - they wouldn't want an old fart...

Re: Off-Set Stocks

Thanks Tony / David and Alan, Appreciate your thoughts and the videos will check out later tonight. Should have searched the subject on the forum first - can't believe how much info is out there. Tony - Now Now !! That's enough about those 'Southern Sissy's" !!! For four years now I've been usi...
