Re: George Wittorff hunter class

I don’t think you are ever going to get a set of rules that will suit everyone. I think what George has suggested is reasonable, with maybe the exception of allowing magazines to be used. Weight 8kg, should cover most rifles. Drop the weight and someone will be excluded. Rifle scope, who cares. High...

Re: George Wittorff hunter class

Hi Trev, On the info received from the VRA, George is asking for comments by the end of January, however, contact details have not been provided. Yes, I know we can probably email the NRAA but a direct link etc would be handy.

Cheers

Re: NRAA Ammo Survey.

Trevor , the last thing we need is for the NRAA to increase membership by $25 to $30. Maybe, they should look at cost cutting or other ways of increasing income. Best way to increase income is to increase membership

Re: NRAA Elections for Director Positions - Nov 2nd

Hi Bob, so how much does it cost to hold 4 Meetings a year, given that Directors airfares etc are covered.

It seems to me that so many things can be dealt with via modern technology.

Cheers

Re: How would a Prize Meeting go on grand final Day.

It’s hard enough getting shooters to attend a pm let alone on a grand final day. But, yes, some variety in ranges etc would be good. However, it’s not all about PMs. Membership begins at club level, we have to build up members, who then may go to PMs. Now a dangerous question. For those members that...

Maybe it’s time that you took less notice of bullet calculators and more of what works in real life.

Re: The Future

Trevor, there has to be a happy medium re club membership and PMs. I try to balance my attendance at PMs etc, because I feel I need to remain committed to the Hamilton Rifle Club. As the Captain, I need to be there and accept my duties to promote and advance the club. This also includes planning, wo...

Re: The Future

It’s seem like this thread is a repeat of a repeat of another similar thread, lots of ideas but nothing changes. Club membership is the most important and where the growth needs to be. Maybe, State Associations need to be more focussed on supporting clubs rather than maintaining state ranges etc. Th...

Re: Best Tablets for ETs

Hi Geoff, I was able to source 10 or so on eBay. Had a mate re programme them for me. Bruce Sergeant got some off me, as did some club mates and Bill Bouyack bought the last lot from my seller. With postage, I ended up paying about $30 each. They were also a slightly later model than our Hexta ones ...
