Re: Stock type?

On second thoughts it looks more like one made by the late Geoff Slee from Werribee ( Vic ) There was a slight difference around the grip between his and those made by Tom Canty.

Re: Silver Mountain SOLO ET's

As there is no answer to the contrary I take it that the more sensitive the sensor is, the more accurate is the reporting as to the shot hole position.

Re: Silver Mountain SOLO ET's

Thanks Peter, that satisfactorily explains my questions. I would think that on a range such as ours where no more that two targets would be in used any one time, the possibility of this happening would be so remote as to not give it consideration. However a question remains -- would a more sensitive...

Re: Silver Mountain SOLO ET's

Thanks Daniel, It appears to me that the possibility of " lost " shots is very real considering the range of the sensors. That raises a number of questions. If the sensors are capable of detecting shots from several targets either side ---then why don't they? Why is my screen not overcrowd...

Re: Silver Mountain SOLO ET's

Hi Daniel,
That does not really mean much unless you qualify it with the Actual distances measured.

Re: Silver Mountain SOLO ET's

HI Daniel,
Appreciate the comments but don't understand your final comment " By the time you have 10 targets firing simultaneously our gear outperforms the cheaper system ( I take that as " Shotmarker " ?? ) etc etc." Would you care to elaborate ?

Re: Scope Advise - 900yd MOA

Darren, With a scope which has 55 MOA adjustment and your requirement is say 26 MOA at 900, this leaves you 29 MOA to play with. Ideally you would set the scope to Zero at 300 at around 10 MOA up from the bottom limit. This leaves you 19 at the top over 900 yards. This would probably be ok for 1000 ...

Re: Scope Advise - 900yd MOA

55 MOA is more than enough to get you to 900 ( good for 1000 actually ) using a 20 MOA taper on the rail.
900 is normally around 21MOA above 300 ( give or take 1 MOA ) 1000 is about 26.
All based on about 2970 or so MV and 155 Bergers or 2156 Sierras.

Simon,
Thanks for that info. Be interested in how it performs when you get around to it.

Silver Mountain SOLO ET's

Hi All,
Anybody have any feed back on these targets, good bad or otherwise?
Clubs' thinking about installing a couple. Price seems OK but how are they performance wise?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Tobler Actions

I don't believe there was any part of the Angle 80 that was interchangeable with an Omark.

Re: Tobler Actions

Was not aware that Tobler made an action -- might have but not aware of it.
The only action I know that used an Omark bolt was the DALE -made in SA.
