6.5cm is a good choice for PRS, but that kind of rifle will not cut it in F open, I agree that if you want to dabble in F class then some 308s will cut it in f standard, for a while. but only for practice, not competition because you are competing against rifles with 80fps more muzzle velocity from ...

The HRB's are coated with 'black stuff" that hopefully has the lubricating properties you mention.

Thanks, yep i think it will only ever see lead projectiles .... It is a joy to shoot and very smooth.

So ... I have fired about 25 cowboy loads out of my miroku 1873 357 lever gun... trailboss smokeless powder and HRB lead slugs. I just cleaned the barrel with #9 hoppes and it all looks clean..(then put in a little sweets oil). My question is: with lead projectiles are you just trying to get the pow...

I think you dont need to get 100 % of the carbon out , and anyone who thinks they do is probably kidding themselves. No chemical will do it and excessive bronze brushing to mine the grooves for carbon will keep finding more and might wear the barrel a little, since the paste of carbon is there, even...

Yeah I know, but I could not help myself .....

1873 Winchester in 357magnum/38 special made by Miroku. It feels as well made as it looks... and a bit faster than a barnard :)
