That an ME of over 4300 foot pounds, more than the range limit even in nsw (4182?). More t...

Re: F-Class World Championships 2017

Has anyone thought about sending a publicity statement to the mainstream media ? (Fairfax, ABC sports etc ?)

Re: Odd barrel

This is only a guess but even though you can look down the hole at the target maybe there is a slight bend in the hole over the last few inches that is difficult to see. Surely it would only need to be a few percent off . The end of the hole may not be dead centre with the end nearest your eye, even...

Re: Barrel twist rate

I am also using a 10 twist barrel in a 308 at the moment and it works very well. Also using berger 155.5s. If you were toying with the idea of ftr as well this would be a safer bet.

Re: Ideas Wanted: Stock for savage 12

I have a couple of candidates. I have ordered a GRS Hybrid because I like the traditional hold, rather than a pistol grip. But it will need bedding, and maybe pillars, to give a good result in a 300WSM. The second idea IS a pistol grip military style stock.

Re: Sub 7mm choice

I would like to try a 6.5mm saum. I think it would move 130-140gr projectiles fairly quickly and cut through the wind. Probably best to get 2 or 3 barrels chambered at the same time, but if it works.... No problems with energy limits etc.
