Re: Australia vs New Zealand F-Open Teams Match

I was part of the first FTR team 2015 and it was so memorable to say the least . The best hospitality one could ever ask for , as nothing was too much trouble ! The legal stuff NZ end was a breeze, one of the chief RO's during the comp was the National firearms officer who granted us 1 year NZ firea...

Re: Several primers not showing much pin strike

In my Palma brass I have only ever used CCI 450 magnum primers (different batchs) used in three different actions and five different barrels in last 3 years not one problem other than a couple accidentally seated upside down , I FLS when necessary , seat off the lands but jam a little to fire form n...

Re: Priming Tool Recommendation.

Borrowed a 21ST Century with the black square LEE tray with adjustable depth , had to use it for tight pockets and CCI magnum primers and I can swear by how easy it was , my old Lee was ready to break ! I have ordered one directly as no one here will import them

Re: .260 Rem loads

My 260 was built for hunting but I did get 1:8 twist , I have taken it to the range with me when I do my FTR shoots , ands it does pretty well at 500 yds that's furthest its been shot on paper off Harris bipods . Rifle is nowhere near weight of normal Open class rifle so handling is not the same , b...

Hi all, I have come across a good lump of well seasoned (decades) of Jarrah , anyone know if it will make a good stock for fclass , or how to tell before hacking into it

Re: Recoil reducers?

Interesting topic, I shoot FTR so this would be good for heavy 200 gn plus bullets . Have seen the ones that are integrated into the stock, would need to be careful not to gain too much weight , alter rifle balance , of course it would play with overall harmonics so a bit to consider but possible . :D
