Re: Kongsberg Targets up-grade

Hi Peter here is exactly what your after. We did this at busselton rifle club (based on the Coolilup range in Capel where Dave refers to) which has led the way for Kongsberg improvements. All our data was sent to Kongsberg in Europe and they were quite interested and impressed at the results. There ...

Re: WA Pinjar Range , energy limits ?

There may well be a higher limit it’s probably best to contact WARA direct.

Re: WA Pinjar Range , energy limits ?

If you conform to the same limits as Belmont like you would for the QRA and National Queens you will be fine.

Re: Trigger clean

Compressed air usually. Buy the cans from officeworks. Handy to have in the shooting kit as well, just in case you ever get dust or sand or powder in an action from a stuck projie during an unload command.

Re: Successful 6mm for long range

Depends what discipline your shooting... ask the Montana 1kBR boys what shoots most consistent out of any cal. My bet is the 6BR ackley. All you need for f class is some form of speed loading ammo block

Re: New to bench rest shooting

Might I suggest a phone call to forum sponsors CRM gunsports. They helped me into a new nightforce competition scope a few years back. Great price and great service for a customer that was on the opposite side of the country. I would highly recommend the NF competition scope, its what a hell of a lo...

Re: KEEP ME IN TUNE

One thing I noticed is a fair bit of arrogance in this regard. People have rifles that are very accurate. But then they foul and can’t smash the center. First thing they blame is the ET they shoot on. Then claim conditions are bad when others are putting in high scores. As Tim said, barrel cleaning ...

Re: Jlk projectiles

Yes that was the first thing I looked at. Ordered two reamers from USA recently and the whole experience makes me wonder if sitting on a pineapple would be less painful.

Re: Jlk projectiles

I’m talking to swampy at the moment. He can’t raise bob or jan either. Have found out what’s involved in getting them going again here and sadly it’s out of my capabilities.

Re: Rifle stock keels??

If you read the article, Bart said it took 15 minutes to adjust so here was no movement in the scope when sliding the gun back. In f class you don’t have 15 minutes prep time. You get 15 minutes to shoot the string. I’m not against the idea, it’s great innovation, but it’s not practical for most f c...

Re: Rifle stock keels??

I agree there will always be things to make it all better, but unless your on a dead flat bench, with plenty of prep time, I dont think adjustable keels will be feasible for f class. I think better results will come from wind reading and load tuning.
