Picatinny rail question

Hi All, My rifle features a sleeved Remington action, the sleeve has a Davidson dovetail machined into the top surface with about 20 MOA of inclination. I just fitted a Kelbly’s dovetail to picatinny adaptor, with 20 MOA of inclination, to make it more convenient when swapping scopes from rifle to r...

Re: Savage 12 bolt lift.

Hi Ben, Pacific Tool & Gauge sell a Savage bolt lift kit and will happily post it to you. Comes with detailed instructions on how to fit and what to polish/grind if you choose to. Nice feature of this kit is that allows you to adjust the firing pin tension externally. I fitted the kit to my Sava...

Re: 6ppc loads

6PPC very easy to load for, I’ve used Benchmark 1, Benchmark 2, AR 2219,
VIht. 133. If I could add only one powder it would be BM2. Federal primers work
great and any of the Berger Bullets 62 to 68 grain will make you happy.

Chris

Re: Scope Advise - 900yd MOA

Nightforce BR 12x42x56 I have these in my Dasher 6mm Nd 7x57 AI and have no problems with 1000yds . Have a look at magnum sports prices Like Barry says zero at 300 setup scope so the elevation is as low as possible eg my 6mm is at 5moa at 300 Ditto on what Bill says above, I also use a Nightforce B...

Truflite barrels, any opinions?

Hi Gang, Looking around for new barrel blank for a F Std. rig and it seems the usual suspects i.e. Krieger/Bartlein etc. are almost impossible to find, at least in the profile/twist/length I want. Truflite, on the other hand, appear to be much easier to find so the question is are they on the same l...

Re: What calibre?

Hi Scott, First up, forget about the 6PCC, different case, requires fire forming, odd bolt face diameter, most chambers need neck turned cases. Number one case for short range 100/200 Benchrest but F Class is way different to Benchrest. Go with a straight 6mm BR or sometimes called 6mm BR Norma. Lap...
