Re: Given Current Component Availability...

Rod,

As far as I am aware, his heaviest 30 cal is a 168gr. The 175gr, 190gr and 208gr VLD are still coming. Ive got my name down for some 208gr VLD for F/TR

Probs is that we don't have decent supply here. So for a OPM or queens, is worth it to pay?

Re: Given Current Component Availability...

Personally, now I'm shooting F/TR, a 308 running 155gr to 175gr will be my practice rig. Recoil management wise and everything else its just easy. I'm going to do another 7mm08AI for Fly and FO use once I've got my 308 sorted.

Re: 30cal Projectiles FS

F/TR isn't hard. Its just different.

I'd love to take the 208ELDM but have to pay for a new rifle first. If you still have them once thats done id take them. But that will be a few months.

Re: Carbon cleaning methods curious after borescoping club barrels

I clean every 50rds. Hoppes and a Bronze Brush then nylon and then let it soak. And then repeat as needed. Letting it go 100 plus rounds I've found it triples thr cleaning time the next time you clean so I dont. And with the use of blow off shots, why wouldn't you clean to ensure repeatability with ...
