Re: Sierra 110g SMK in 6mm

Hi Dave,
Re the Copperhead Bullets 6mm 112 grain VLD Bullets, the 1:8 twist barrel would be marginal, they have shot great in 1:7.5 twist barrels, just sent some to a PRS shooter in the US to test and has given some good feedback “shot great measured very consistent”

Re: New 7mm 178 grain VLD Copperhead Bullets

Thanks Rod, Yes...l guess l am being over cautious in recommending a 1:8.5 or 1:8 twist barrel with this projectile. This due to the ogive shape and the length of bearing surface, it may shoot fine in a 1:9 twist barrel, but time ndvtesting will tell. Will, take your advice, so looking at a 185-ish ...

Re: Torque settings for Panda action screws

Sir, On my two Stolle Panda F Class rifles, they are both set up in laminated wood stocks with aluminium bedding blocks, l torque all three screws @ 45 inch/lbs this has worked for me, but this with the above set up. But, is the 40 inch/lbs torque that the gunsmith set up, if it is, then l would go ...

Re: Need load info for 112 hpbt vld for a 243 .

Barry Some loads below but using 115 bullets and H4831 same as ADI AR2213-SC, this will give a starting load but l would try and seat 0.010" to 0.015" into the lands reduce the below loads by 5% as you are seating the land so l would start at 42.5 grains with AR2213-SC H4831 – 44.5 gr. – B...

Re: Newsletter from BRT and my reply

Andrew, Must reply to your comments, first you do not know much about "Custom" bullet manufacture it takes me approx 5-7 hours to make 1000 long range bullets, at least 30% of my cost are imported Berger J4 jackets.!! Second, you are lucky that BRT and the QRA store import the Berger Bulle...
