Re: Victorian Queens Series - 2018

Yeh, but, Alan, out of the 27 that didn't go in 2017, how many were because of the targets and how many were because of work/other commitments? I personally prefer paper at comps, especially queens, but it's a big call blaming just the targets for a decline in numbers without actually asking those ...

Re: Victorian Queens Series - 2018

If it's good enough for Canberra, which I may add, attracted their biggest entry last year, why can't the VRA use the electronic targets??????????????? if properly maintained. Come on. Geoff Canberra's 2016 Queens was the first time they used Kongsbergs, and there were 102 F-Class entries, then in ...

Re: Hello

Richie, Welcome to the forum. Presumably you're interested in F-Class if you're on this website. Most F-Class shooting is done at shorter ranges than 1000 yards. You see more longer ranges at major competitions. Some new shooters start with factory rifles, with Savage and Remington being among those...

Re: FCWC 2021

I hope South Africa has a great FCWC. They have a governing body who wants to run it, and for that reason it will probably be a better event than we could provide.

Re: FCWC 2021

Agree with Mike that we have to tread lightly here - as far as I know, South African Bisley Union (SABU) has given no indication of doubt about holding the event. Unless and until they do that, you couldn't expect the NRAA Board to make an offer to hold it at Belmont. But if it does become likely th...

Is that due to problems unique to South Africa or would it also be the case with an Australian FCWC?

Re: Australia vs New Zealand F-Open Teams Match

Thanks Albert. Appreciate your reporting. Lewis must have had a 58! He's having a roller coaster  . So do the finalists carry their scores through or is it all down to the final 1000yd score? PS. Just checked last year's results and scores are carried through, so it works like making the cut ...

Re: Australia vs New Zealand F-Open Teams Match

Looks like conditions are a bit choppy. After the first 2 ranges Australia is ahead by 10 points in open and 4 points in F/TR. Looks like a good contest. Hang on in there fellas, and thanks for the progress reports.
