Re: A & D FX-300I advice

I don't think you will be disappointed I wouldn't be without mine. A heavy base for the trickler is an almost essential upgrade and I still add the last kernel (when necessary) with a Dandy trickler.

Re: Tikka set trigger help please

If you are just starting out I would simply not use the "set" posistion and adjust the main pull weight to your desired level. If you are going to persist with the Tikka action you will probably want to fit a Bix'n Andy or Timney etc.

Re: New to reloading, what equipment route is best

In reality I don't think any premium press will let you down. I run a RCBS summit with forster or Redding Dies and have neck runout of about 0.0005 thou. I also use a arbour press and wilson dies which improves the run out fractionally not that I have seen a difference at the range although I'm also...

Re: A & D FX-300I advice

I just changed and love it. Add the Area419 base to the adams trickler, set the charge 1mg under your desired load and add a single kernal with a dandy when required. Has transormed my loading takes under 15 secconds a roud to weigh and fill and accrate to the Kernel.

Re: Reloading Equipment

It's all about concentricity, for similar money you can have a basic arber press and a pair of wilson dies and chern out some of the most mechanically acutare rounds money can make. Maybe not on the couch but definatly on the kitchen table. Depending on calibre, qualtiy of action and chamber you ma...

Area 419 Auto-Trickler Base

I don't know how well known this part is but if you are lucky enough to have an Auto-Trickler I can highly recommend upgrading the base to the one by Area 419 (http://www.area419.com). Weighing over half a kilo it's steady as a rock and the adjustable feet let you fine tune the trickle rate and it l...
