The local vet clinic works well too but please give us some warning before helping yourselves to the dog weigh scales

Re: Rifle weighing scales.

Baby weigh scales are another option, 0-20 kg, an ok resolution of 5 grams for a little over $100 and easy to put the rifle on.

Re: Shooters Mat

UL1700, Mate I like your way of thinking. Found a 4x6 foot canvas tarp online $35.90 https://www.snowys.com.au/canvas-tarps is that similar to what your using? 0005922_canvas-tarp-6x4.jpeg Yep exactly the same, just layed my setup out ontop (offset to the right as i shoot a LH action right handed),...

Not far wrong there...

Re: Tall Gun Safe

You will find that the ammo box in the top of most safes are only a tack welded piece of sheet steel. A lump hammer and a cold chisel quickly converts a safe with an ammo box into a "long" safe with no ammo box. Recently changing rifle from a 28" barrel to a 30" barrel meant I h...

I'm starting to think that my 6 foot $30 piece of Canvass tarpaulin with custom bag cutout provided by myself is inferior!

Re: The Future

Location must be a significant factor, Lang Lang was so busy last Saturday 6+ shooters on every target (5 off) plus spectators and interested newcomers that I had to gave up after two ranges (one range for the Sophie) and go back to work! It also seems crazy that I am lucky enough to have have two r...

Re: The Future

Thankfully my club is looking into ETs, which should make the sport less time consuming and more family friendly to younger shooters. Best thing out for club shoots! There is no way I would have the time to shoot on manual targets especially if I did my bit pulling and marking. As it is Hexta makes...

Re: The Future

I haven't posted on here for a long time but still read some posts from time to time .. After travelling to comps O.S and talking to Fclass shooters and coming home and seeing what we are doing and where we are going its a bleak future.... I guess part of answer could be in what magic is happening ...

Re: Elevation adjustments

Berger claim 53 minutes but I had to guess bullet weight and Ballistic Coefficient (I used 38 grains and a G1 of 0.110) anyway fun to play with if you don't know of it already and comforting to have access to at the range for a beginner like me...

Re: Wind Reading Training Software

Hi, Here is an idea, can we have a selectable time delay between shots? We all have to reload and whilst I try not to cheat is is easy to let off a couple of shots quicker then I can in real life and sometimes I double click out of habit. Also I can reliably get a 60 with 10 with some very quick mou...

Re: Wind Reading Training Software

Fun program, I nearly gave up as it took me 10 mins to get on the target! I turned on bullet drop well you have to click everything 1st but initially couldn't work out how to adjust the scope and didn't know where the bullet was meat to be hitting  How to change the wind profile is a little co...

Re: Given Current Component Availability...

I run a 308 and 6mm, formally in BR flavour and Now Dasher. All match grade components can be tricky to get but 6mm and 308 both seem to have stronger supply then others. I have just started to purchase in lots of 2000 projectiles and 4 or 8KG of powder at a time (I run 2208 in everything including ...
