Re: George Wittorff hunter class

MB’s need to be allowed or the prs gang will overlook it . But of course with precautions that must be achieved to mitigate muzzle blast . 8 kg bit much , many 6.5 kg max . Other than that looks good !

Re: George Wittorff hunter class

North Arm’s rules would be a good start if Scott R wants to chime in . Or Seddo’s rules.

Re: AUSTRALIAN FCWC TEAM SELECTION

Anyway, can we as I said before , move on . Both Craig and Den would have and or will succeed. We need put the decision behind us and move forward. A debriefing is always a good idea as we can always improve. There are some serious hurdles ( Safety being one ) that have to be addressed for the Manag...

Re: AUSTRALIAN FCWC TEAM SELECTION

Having the privilege to be a firer in the winning NSW F-open team last year at Lower Light with Dennis as the captain I whole heartedly wish him and the rest of the team the best of luck in South Africa. I am confident they will represent Australia very well!!! We should be throwing support behind ...

Re: 280 AI information Blog

Actually just recalling, Trans Tasman and NZ Queens , barrel changing behaviour lol! Friday practice started with 7/08 ai then changed to Bart pink bits .284 and tuned load. That change was at 900 yds . Saturday practice and first time the team got together, was pink bits Bart .284 for the longs . S...

Re: 280 AI information Blog

Sorry , but I guess my strategy for a Queens will be shoot my .284 up to 800 yds or 900 yds then switch barrels to the 280 ai for 1000 yds . Switching barrels during a comp is something I’ve been practicing. And I still need more practicing . It did cost me a opm just recently. But you will never g...

Good to hear you are having success with your 280 Dose it burn clean with that powder or do you get heavy fouling? Best test will be a Queen’s comp. Good luck with it Hi Tim , no different than 2213sc . It burns pretty clean . I don’t think I can download any lower as pressures seem to be too low a...

Re: 280 AI information Blog

Been a while , but I’ve come back from my family break from shooting which was good for me . During that time off , I kept developing this cartridge. I have now successfully used 30/60 brass by using my 338 neck die to form a false shoulder . I did up a whole write up on my Personal FB page of how t...
