Re: Travelling to and from shoots and fatigue

Thanks Rod. The 15 y.o 4WD keeping you engaged V's modern cars is a good point and interesting topic. I wonder what the legalities or liabilities are if someone was travelling with firearms, had an accident and was carted off in an ambulance unconscious while the firearms were unkowingly left with ...

Re: Australia vs New Zealand F-Open Teams Match

Ok , getting into the playful banter and how much Kiwis and Aussies luv eachother !! Here is a joke to set off the mood for the Trans Tasman celebration!! A Chinaman, a German and a Kiwi are working on a high rise construction site. At lunch time, they sat down together and opened their lunchboxes. ...

Re: Travelling to and from shoots and fatigue

Denis , I’m glad u made it home safe and why I was so appreciative when Narc opm was on that Burnsy let me go early . Travelling 4 hours or more by myself after a challenging Rifle Range like northarm is very much dangerous if not kept in check . Eating and bit but not gorging on food before driving...

Re: F Class Competition in Australia

Ok , I’ve finally read through the whole thread ! I believe leave the rules as they are ( I’m not going to go into et’s Issue as this will sort itself out !) B grade standard is one of the greatest feeder classes that have fostered many of our past, current And future top shots . In Qld we have 90 o...

Re: F Class Competition in Australia

I don't shoot F class nor any type of competitive shooting. I do however have appreciate the knowledge and skills that f class shooters and prs/bench rest shooters have and freely pass on to those of us who just like to improve our accuracy in a recreational environment. So please take my 2 cents f...

Re: F Class Competition in Australia

Steve, aren't you saying you don't agree with the way F Standard ( which I don't shoot ) has evolved but best it is left alone just so some don't get pissed off ? I went to Trentham last weekend and we shot all long range and all on E Target marking. My loose plan for the weekend was NOT to "c...

Re: VRA - Long Range Prize Meeting

Hi David , I’m sorry I didn’t get to catch up with u ! Maybe Vic Queens? Well Bendigo is a tough range . It makes Muckadilla look like kindergarten! That last 900 today was just plain hardcore!! I really enjoy tough rifle ranges but after dropping 3 fives I was very nearly in the Northarm fetal posi...

Re: Vic Police Rifle Club OPM 2017

Are you happy with how your 280AI is running Graham? Hi Willow, yes I’m very happy with the 280 ai except the misfires. Talking to a Stolle Guru on the weekend and we may have a fixed the problem. The only thing is I’ve put the 280 ai away and am just working on the .284 barrels and 7-08 ai . I’ll ...

Re: Vic Police Rifle Club OPM 2017

Well , what an intro into to the Bendigo rifle range . Even in light conditions, there was no certainty of a 60 at all . We had half of the field of nearly 40 shooters from PRS , shooting “ Target Service Rifle “ which is basically practical Rifle on a five ring target . It was devided into nato and...

I would say 55 gr 2209 is a typo ! 10-15 thou jammed seems to be more common. Can also try orings mid barrel to short circuit reflected vibrations too?
