Folded jackets on 180’s ??

Hi All , I was reading a thread in Accurate shooter and stumbled upon this ? “So, you cant close the meplats the same and shoot them with the unfolded jacketed bullets and expect the best. I have an advanced technique to find this on every meplat I close, but you can find the same thing by a pre-poi...

Re: Powder & Primers in the tropics.

Trying to open the bulk tub as little as possible. I store the powder locked ( of corse) and keep in a cool and dry place . Same for the primers . Re...

Re: One mile + rifle

I wouldn't consider a 50 cal, not accurate enough for me. If I had somewhere closer to shoot longrange, it would be a 375 Cheytac for me or a big cased 338. Regards Matt P This is what one needs to win king of 2 mile at the moment!! Unfortunately us Aussies being world Champs at this is very much a...

Re: Australia vs New Zealand F-Open Teams Match

Everyone should be getting very excited now, not long until you go to the home of the big white cloud. You will find the hospitality fantastic, as they look after their guests very well! Enjoy the shoot and do well, as you have a strong team! I guess I have the biggest mouth ..... or is that the bi...

Re: annealing made perfect

There would be no conceivable difference between doing a large batch and just doing before a match . Other than doing a large lot , you could get fatigued and may make mistakes? Amp machines ( sponsored endorsement!) :D are very user friendly and Les likely for error , are fast than the old map torc...

Re: One mile + rifle

......... What is everyone using and what are the results ? ...... Mick, you don't need heavy artillery to shoot targets at 1 mile and you don't need to be supersonic, but it definitely helps - provided your ammo, rifle, scope and laser etc are up to it. I push Berger 6.5mm 140 VLDs at a leisurely ...
