Re: Is my scope Broke ?

You can make a Collimator of sorts using another Riflescope if you are interested. The basic principle is to have one scope look into another face to face. It is not up to a dedicated Collimator but it does work. Take a substantial piece of RHS steel and screw onto it two Pic Rails for the scopes. ...

Re: Is my scope Broke ?

Hi Graham, I would have a close look at your rest too before you post the scope away, changing to the nxs will show it too, remember I said I got a weird vibration when I used it? I’ve since made new feet and plate for my rest and I don’t feel that at all, cheers Rich Hi Rich , welcome to the forum...

Re: Is my scope Broke ?

That is one test you can perform. Dry firing. If you see the cross hairs bouncing than I'll say the scope is not holding zero. I've seen it a couple of times my self and it was the scope. Another thing you can do to check for tracking is while looking thru the scope at a horizontal or vertical obje...

Re: 280 AI information Blog

Graham What did your FF 30-06 cases end up measuring when formed . I had a box of Lapua arrive today and the few pieces I plucked measure 2.484-2.485 OAL in parent form . I image should see 2.480 or shorter once formed . Got any numbers ? Hi Mate , I’ll measure when I get home and have a look . Reg...

Re: 280 AI information Blog

GMan, its a trick to snow the opposition because those in the know are glued to this site. But they don't realize, we Aussies have led them around in circles, up and down gum trees, in and out of fog and now we are going to snow them. We tell them everything on Ozfclass. We hold every SAUM case the...

Re: 280 AI information Blog

Ok , well a week has past and emotions are now out of the way . So a week or so ago just like the 7-08 ai I wanted to cut up the chamber too . In this case to a 7mm Saum . Which is a decision that is moving to 7 Saum I should have done a long time a go . However with about 700 rounds on the Lilja it...

RDavies wrote:I have used 2213sc in one of my spare SAUMs and it runs 60.75gns of 2213sc with 180 hybrids at around 2960-2970fps. This was not the load limit and cases lasted a lot of firings.

Hi Rod . Do you think it’s a powder worth looking at or best for newbie Saum lovers to stick to 2209?

States up coming up , my form needs work and I really have to concentrate on 284 and finding my mojo again ! And again thankyou...
