Re: The Future

I think that Williada hit the nail on head and some of the preceding posts as well about the need to take on change at the local level. The national body is probably best described as being in state of slow renewal and waiting for them to direct from up high is not going to achieve anything. Clubs h...

Re: Nosler rdf

I have just loaded up 130gn RDFs for 260Rem. 42.5gn 2209, 26” 1:8 with Fed Match Gold LR primers. The case necks were prett trigger though, hoping that doesn’t impact too dramatically. I’ll report results from 300M after this Saturday.

Re: George Wittorff hunter class

This is an opportunity to create a budget class with a reasonably level playing field. Having read all of the posts and the discussion so far, looking at my own experiences and with new shooters we have been lucky enough to attract to our club so far, this would probably make it much easier to ente...

Graham

I am about to jump in the .280AI journey and finding your thread/blog has been tremendously valueable and heartening to see it come together for you with solid results.
Thanks for taking the time to put all of this down for our reference and enjoyment!

Re: Bell & Carlson Stocks any good...

This is a timely thread as I am looking at one for another build to be finished next year.
What magazines do the they take or do they have a non-detachable magazine type of arrangement?

Hi everyone Is their anyone out there with experience reloading with a EJ-123 scale from A&D? I am looking to improve on my RCBS auto trickler and was looking at this one as more affordable alternative to the Fx-300. Want to know if there is any positive it negative experience with this product ...

Re: Ken from Copper head

140gn 6.5VLDs show a lot of promise with .68MOA at 100M
Will be buying a larger volume when some cash frees up. I still have a supply of Berger 6.5VLDs but I’m going to stocking up with copper head when the opportunity and cash allows.
Great product and Aussie made!

Re: brownells aust

I almost purchased something from Brownells in Australia after getting bumped to it by the US shop. I almost brought something from them but was informed in time that it was Shooters warehouse I was actually purchasing from. Killed the order there and then. Stories above accord with the experience I...

Re: Starting out in F Standard - Tikka T3x?

Go for the Tikka. The best thing for you starting out is to get and practice, compete, ask questions and have fun! The Tikka Varmint will deliver thousands of shots very accurately out of the box, and provide a great way to get you into learning the finer aspects of the shooting disciplines; reading...

Seeking Experience loading 143gn ELD-x & 147gn ELD-M in .260Rem

Hey everyone I have found some 147gn ELD-M and 143gn ELD-X to trial in my .260Rem. I am seeking any experience people might have with loading for either of these projectiles and what powders people might have tried. My inclination is that 2209 would be appropriate and starting with loads advised for...
