Graham

I am about to jump in the .280AI journey and finding your thread/blog has been tremendously valueable and heartening to see it come together for you with solid results.
Thanks for taking the time to put all of this down for our reference and enjoyment!

Re: Bell & Carlson Stocks any good...

This is a timely thread as I am looking at one for another build to be finished next year.
What magazines do the they take or do they have a non-detachable magazine type of arrangement?

Re: Ken from Copper head

140gn 6.5VLDs show a lot of promise with .68MOA at 100M
Will be buying a larger volume when some cash frees up. I still have a supply of Berger 6.5VLDs but I’m going to stocking up with copper head when the opportunity and cash allows.
Great product and Aussie made!

Re: brownells aust

I almost purchased something from Brownells in Australia after getting bumped to it by the US shop. I almost brought something from them but was informed in time that it was Shooters warehouse I was actually purchasing from. Killed the order there and then. Stories above accord with the experience I...

Re: Starting out in F Standard - Tikka T3x?

Go for the Tikka. The best thing for you starting out is to get and practice, compete, ask questions and have fun! The Tikka Varmint will deliver thousands of shots very accurately out of the box, and provide a great way to get you into learning the finer aspects of the shooting disciplines; reading...

Seeking Experience loading 143gn ELD-x & 147gn ELD-M in .260Rem

Hey everyone I have found some 147gn ELD-M and 143gn ELD-X to trial in my .260Rem. I am seeking any experience people might have with loading for either of these projectiles and what powders people might have tried. My inclination is that 2209 would be appropriate and starting with loads advised for...

Re: Bathurst Rifle Club OPM 2017

Thanks Bathurst for a great OPM.
Was well worth the drive with some very good competition. Loved the targets as well, some teething issues but nothing that won’t disappear with some experience and locking down the SOPs.

Well done guys

Re: powder in .223

Thanks eveyone

I’m thinking I might play with 2208 and 06H as I do have a bit of it on hand.
The intent is to keep the rifle completely stock for a while just a bipod and a rear bag and just see what I can get it to do. I’m thinking the 70-73gn Berger projectiles are where I’ll start.
