Re: Victorian DRA teams

Another that thinks there club should do a better job of selecting a champion. Certainly the selection process at club level is a mat...

Re: Victorian DRA teams

Especially if it is an internationally recognized one. We want Australia to be part of the global sporting ...

Re: Victorian DRA teams

I completely agree with what Bartman007 has said. The pre-selection is what gives the event its prestige. If the winner is not able or does not want to go then the runner up or next available person should represent the DRA. As the VRA stated "It was good to see all DRA's represented" the ...

It required some effort just to get them to Bendigo. One received his 50 year continuous membership certi...

Wow even a 308 shooting a 155 could possibly be affected and booked for speeding. Restrictions are really becoming a burden and fun factor influence making sure you comply with this and comply with that yada yada yada.

Re: Locking Lugs Lube

Ive alway used the tetra grease whatever it is. This thread started me thinking of all the different types of grease available. What about the high copper content neverseize grease for this purpose? A moly grease may sound better if any where to make its way into the barrel. An interesting topic wit...

Re: Carbon remover

I would have thought that sweets is a very strong alkaline solution and I see it recommended by barrel makers certainly more than using even brass brushes.

Re: The Purdy Prescription (PRX)

Harmonics are created by the fundamental wave and you are discussing what happens in the barrel in the second, third harmonic or even could be termed standing wave as in radio terminology. The bullet however is traveling supersonic faster than the fundamental wave that creates the harmonic. I am yet...
