Re: Can we shoot ssaa disciplines on an nraa range

Hi Brad, We shoot the 600 B/R. at Townsville range which is metric. We measured out the 600yd. and chipped a line in the grass and put our portable benches on this line. You do not need a mound, only the distance. We also painted 2/ 50mm. thick masonry capping tiles white and put 600 on them in blac...

Re: Powder Load

That was the best load from testing for me. Re John's thought on primers, I have found I have better results with C.C.I BR2,but I only use 2209. Only tested wit 2213sc in case a time came when I could not 2209.
Cheers,
Trevor.

Re: You don't need a scope to get a good score

Congratulations to that man.
A good achievement for any "F" Open shooter. An excellent achievement for a T/R. shooter.
Well done.

Re: NECK SIZING

Hi twotwothree, With my 6.5 x 47 I size about half of the neck. This is all the length that the bearing surface of my projectiles utilise. Any more is only working more of the case than needed. I set the shoulder bump to just touch the shoulder after the second firing of the cases. This also stops e...

Re: RECOIL and THE BLOEMING CASE

as an aside to this topic, are the 150 M/K available here yet. and where. My enquiries a month ago at 3 outlets advised that the Aust. importer had no plans of importing in the near future.

Trevor.

Re: F Class Competition in Australia

One must remember that some of the "other fees" goes towards insurance cover which is an association expense not club expense. If there was no head body organisation to administer our sport we would not have one. There are expenses to do this so other than club fees have to be paid. For wh...

Re: Norma 6.5mm 130 gr diamond line

Earlier in the year Ken sent me samples of his new 135 & 140 gr. V.L.D. projectiles. I shot them in my 6.5 x 55Rogue in F open and they shot very well. I shot both with my standard load I use with the Lapua 139's. I thought the 140's shot a little better than the 135's but I put that down to no ...
