Re: FCWC 2021

Now I might have been miss informed or heard incorrectly, but I was told by someone in the know that in order to host a FCWC you must have participated in three FCWC. I'm not sure if that's three in succession or three in total. Apparently you guys took part in the last two, or so I heard :D Having ...

Re: Somchem S365 South Africa , Next World Champs

First question I would ask is what powder did the South Africans use in Canada? I bet it wasn't Somchem, in fact I'm sure it wasn't.

I think South Africa is going to be a logistical and consumable nightmare, and you're right to start preparing so early.

Re: New March scopes now advertised

I had a sneaky peak through one back in November, I was watching the FT/R shooters at 1000 yards. Using a white V bull center I called a V bull at 2 0clock and then asked the owner to check the score and position of the spotting disc when the pulled target came back up, sure enough it was a V bull a...

Re: 6.5mm SAUM

I had one that I never did get to shoot any sense, I pulled the barrel after 600 rounds and gave up. I'm not saying it doesn't work, but it didn't for me. On bore scoping the barrel I had fire cracking but nothing more than I would expect. I would have put it on par with what I would expect from a 7...

Re: fx 120 i

One of the best purchases I have made. Before the A&D FX 120i I used a Gempro, which although was a lot smaller it was a utter pain in the backside to use due to drifting every 5 minutes.

Re: RL 17...anyone?

Elwood, While we have your attention, are you aware of any recent supply problems with Vihta Vuori in the UK? The current Australian agent has stopped importing it, apparently because of supply and price issues. Its also expensive in the US. Alan Alan, a few of the Vhit powders were hard to get hol...

Re: RL 17...anyone?

RL17 is quite commonly used over here in the UK with the .284 W. It is quite capable of getting velocitiesof well over 2900 fps with ease and I have shot against several F open rifles using it and can certainly vouch for their accuracy, in fact the GB National champion used it last weekend to win th...
