22750 FPS may be out of reach, but 2750 should be.

Re: If ballistics is a science ....

I have found the 6.5*47 to be an incredibly easy cartridge to shoot accurately or to make it shoot small groups it is then up to the fclass shooter to steer it to the center of the target, I would also only neck turn if the reamer used was a tight neck otherwise aim for a small amount of neck tensio...

Re: Problems with CCI 450s

The only primers that have not gon bang in about 40 years of shooting is just recently and I found the problem to be with the primers not being pushed all the way home. The cases are 6,5*284 necked up to 7mm and the primer pockets were very tight almost to the point of using the foster press to inst...

Australia Day Weekend Belmont QLD, Juniors 2019

The Event was held in hot blustery humid conditions that made it challenging for most, however outstanding performances were had. Day one shooting was held at 500,600and 600 day two 1000,900,900. I found the event to be very well run and on hexs electronic targets that mostly behaved. QLD shooter Jo...

Re: Submerging barrels in cleaning solutions

I am another one who uses Helmar carbon and copper remover, it works great, its Australian made, and it is relatively cheap, and they have a very user-friendly web site for internet purchases. I also found the carbon remover removes most of it but all my projectiles are HBN coated.

Re: Auspod release

Hi I had a Joy Pod but felt it was so light in its construction and awkward to get to the right elevation spot but could not fault its finish and neatness, just my experience, also struggling to get the right technec for FTR I have mastered the Harris style as its easy to load it up with forward pre...

Necking up cases and donuts

Hi I am new to tight necks and necking up cases, I have just started shooting a 284 win in F open and naturally purchased Lapua 6.5 * 284 necked them up and turned the necks to suit a .312 diameter, on final inspection it appears that a donut has formed on the inside and at the intersection point of...

Re: Cleaning Rods. Coated or not

Interesting that the 5 r rifling needs a better ball bearing spin characteristic, as I can remember "death of a barrel". Can any one tell me were to purchase these rods.

Re: Berger Hunting VLD vs Match VLD

The hunting and VLD 180's are different, the hunting are shorter hence the lower BC and the lead core goes further to the tip to make up the length difference also the jacket on the targets are thicker. This seems to be only for the 180 7mm as most others just have a different jacket.
