Re: Bix'n Andy triggers

The Barnard triggers should be available in June, I received an email from Andy Atzl about them a couple of months ago.

New Mobile Apps for LabRadar to Be Released Soon

Since there are quite a few shooters running Labradars, I thought this article might be of interest:

Re: New Bushnell Tactical Elite Scopes for F Class

Bushnell will probably just outsource these scopes to LOW to manufacture anyway. Pricing seems competitive but the proof will be in the tracking and how they stack up to the established F-Class scopes already out there.

Re: scope question

Has anyone tried both a VORTEX GOLDEN EAGLE 15 - 60 X 52 and a Nightforce Competition 15-55 ?? If so , how does the Vortex stack up ? cheers Andrew Andrew, I own two of them, one of each reticle. I like them and thought they were on par with the NF Comp, at least to my eyes. Both track and I find t...

What’s a suitable alternative?

Peterson brass is probably worth a look.

Re: What Precision or Tactical Rifle setup do you use

So are there many stages where you have to use the scope for ranging (calculating distance)? Or is it just best to have a ffp for holdover? Btw thanks for answering my newbie questions. Not for the Sydney/Canberra shoots, guys know the distance they are shooting at but some won't dial for wind, the...

Re: "Cheaper" optics - are they suitable?

In the optics world I'm a big believer in you get what you pay for. I've owned March, and then gone down to the Sightron SIII range which is moderately priced in comparison, and have since gone up to somewhere in between with the Vortex Golden Eagle, which gets the job done better than the Sightron,...

Re: What Precision or Tactical Rifle setup do you use

Don’t even consider a second focal plane scope. On many stages you aren’t allowed or don’t have time to adjust your turrets. If you get a second focal plane scope you can only use one power setting which is less then ideal. Anything other then mil turrets and a mil type recticle is just making thin...

Re: What Precision or Tactical Rifle setup do you use

Matt is putting two rifles together for me, both will do the job for PRS, one moreso than the other. Minimal use for both this year though since I'm stuck in Perth. Calibre/Case: 6mm - 6XC Norma brass but will try Peterson brass when it becomes available Action: Kelbly Atlas tactical/Tikka T3 Trigge...

Re: anyone tried the Hornady ELD's

When I first built my 284 WIN, I tried SMK 175 gr, 180 gr Hybrid and 162 gr A-MAX. the A-MAX shot better than all the rest so I stuck with them. Along comes the ELD-M series so I tried the 162's and they shot as good as or better than the A-MAXs. I bought a box of 180 ELD-M to try"later."...

Re: March ELR scope

I’m a March guy but was hoping for something that is more suited to the 95% rather han the 5%. ELR is growing in the States and they have the (allowed) space to do it so this might do well for them. I personally guessed a 40mm tube (have they actually said diameter??) and the with a little hint, at...

Re: 6XC Load Data

Gee whiz, that is fantastic info guys! I really appreciate it! Any indication of which of the primers serves best? Also how many reloads do you get out of the Norma brass? Also bear in mind there will be more brass options in a few months time, with Peterson brass doing the 6XC with both small and ...
