Re: Sierra 2156 base to ogive

Not overly long but the sierras sound like they are quite a bit shorter than the berger full bore im using which measure .530 average base to ogive (on my current lot) i was just thinking of giving the sierras a try for something different. I have tried hbcs and this barrel does not seem to like them.

More on Barrel Tuners

I have been reading with great interest here and other forums about tuners, harmonics and compensation. I have some questions about tuners. I would like to know how to figure out what weight a tuner should be for a specific weight, length and profile barrel? I have seen plenty about selecting a spec...

Re: Stock Rigidity

I have never had an issue free recoiling, to get back to my original point on carbon stocks i have seen comments from shooters here having trouble getting rifles to shoot which i suspect are the same brand of stock i and one of my club mates use with great success. (My club mate Cameron had a 60.8 a...

Re: Stock Rigidity

Im using a seb mini and have now gone to the 500 gram trigger as the per the rule change. I wouldnt say this stock was overly flexible but if you were running a heavy parallel barrel it may require some weight added to the butt to balance it out. I have an aluminium tube which is 7/8" diameter ...

Re: Stock Rigidity

The problem lads is it sounds like a bad stock is being referenced here. What's wrong with a good carbon fiber stock ? Look at all the winning that's been done with the Bob Scoville stock. I have no vested interest in carbon. I just know if it's used right it is very stiff. My current stock has 'Hi...

Re: nswra queens 2018

Paul i think what Bruce is getting at is only TR can officially win the queens, there is no queens prize for F Class. As you have said we are all a part of the same National Body, so then dont we all deserve to be afforded the opportunity to achieve the same honours?

Re: Looking for feedback

Shane as Johnk has mentioned we do have the ability to run 30 targets, a balance of target costs vs how many shooters per target will have to be met so as not to have the entry fee blow out. The idea will be to have early registration and pre paid entries with a cut off date for this competition to ...

Re: Looking for feedback

Agree with most feedback here so far especially Tim; Alan and Rod! Keep it long range Make the 20 shot matches Bisley - actually I would prefer it all Bisley Keep it to a separate 2 day match - as Rod said and it is easier for me to make a 2 day match than a full week plus travel! The one proviso n...
