Re: promoting the nraa image

The above looks a bit odd, seems to be a mix of Bruce’s post and some of mine.I am not even going to try and correct it.Work it out yourselves.

Re: promoting the nraa image

i was thinking more of givimg blood at the blood bank. it would be done under a formal heading something like "nraa life saving blood" agreed to by nraa and the blood people. the nraa would encourage its members to give blood, and receive something like a plaque of gratitude each year. bl...

Re: airlines

i was just talking bullets, not ammo? There should be no problem if going into checked in luggage,I have taken projectiles to USA and NZ without trouble,to be sure contact the airline prior to travel so that you know all is well. You have to understand that airline staff may not be as understanding ...

Chopped off

I travelled to Raglan for the QLD Match Rifle and Long Range Championships last weekend, had a good time and met up with old friends.I tried to make a small report plus the results, thought I was going well until the screen went blank,it is too much for me,perhaps a younger generation can manage it,un...

Re: Seb PodPad

What I find interesting is that of three very top Australian FTR shooters commenting here, one is against, one is for and the other is for some of the time, with other options depending on the mound surface.I am working on it,used carpet on top of a rubber belting mat,on top of a thick wooden board at ...

Re: Seb PodPad

Others may chip in, but IMO if you like me dont hold the rifle the pod pad will likely give elevation shots. I have tried a few times and as the top of the pad is not flat and a small groove is made if the feet are slightly on the rise of the groove then when shot is fired the gun sits down into th...

Re: for sale 308 once fired cases

Hi, is there any interest in genuine once fired winchester 308 cases? comes deprimed. will post. pm for details I don’t want any cases now,as I have plenty and now not shooting Match Rifle, have no need for them. Re: Help... Hero to zero in one range

My wife is currently shooting the same action and is getting very similar group sizes and vert. We are getting as much trigger time as possible but there is a lot to take in when you start. I have also been shooting FTR which I prefer but we like the 6BR for it mild manners. I haven't come across t...

Re: NSW F-Class Association Match

Was an interesting shoot, I really enjoyed it. It was little hot and dusty but good honest fun and great company. Might take the monday off next time. A credit to the members at Ungarie range for keeping the range going all the years. The food was very taste and well prepared. Was a highlight to be...

Re: Blown primers

Hi just wondering why im starting to blow primers, using cci 400 , didnt have the same problem with br4 primers , is my load to hot or just soft primers? As far as I know, the Br4 primers have thicker metal in the body compared to the CCI 400’s,25 thousand of an inch to 20 thousand of an inch.To me,...

I am sure this issue has been raised with the best of intentions, however I would urge care and diplomacy before Australia becomes the nation seen as trying to jump the queue as well as bad mouthing another nations security
