Re: cheap wind meter

Good thing with Kestrel is they are tough. Use them in the fire service and if you buy one you will have it forever... Unless you use it in Trentham where issue was trying to hold on to the darn thing to stop it blowing away!!

If i was in a better financial position i would keep it, but being too used to the joypod and having too much cash tied up in bipods i decided to stick with what i know and have only tried...

Re: AusPod FTR Bipod

The Auspod works much much better with a windage handle fitted. The new windage handle has a strong and new very stiff windage aluminium ring and a new stiffer thicker but still light handle making left and right adjustments much easier. We can supply the new windage handle and new windage aluminium...

Re: New Aluminium Auspod

New windage handle and wand now available and will be fitted to all new batches of Auspod. Improvement is a very stiff aluminium collar and a much stiffer windage wand allowing for a new level of precision doing fine windage adjustments. Re: Auspod release

Here is a pic of the new aluminium Auspod. With windage handle 495g and only 452g without and now super strong and even more solid super stiff. We tried to break a reject just to see how strong and I am convinced after that test that you could shoot a 50 cal off the aluminium version. https://www.oz...

Josh Cox wrote:I am also having troubles with these in my .223, about 1 in ten fails.

Took them home and whacked them with a pin punch, about half of them eventually go off.

I shoot them exclusively in a 6Br and .308. I never had an issue (I wore the 6br barrel out using them) until i bought a 21 century primer sea...
