Re: Ken from Copper head

I tried some of the 130’s today.
The hybrids shot great in my rifle the Vld’s were not quite as good.

Re: a funny advertisement

just saw an ad for "precision gongs" on special. the two words have opposite meanings when it comes to shooting. they are even insufficient for zeroing a hunting rifle. gong shooters use those targets in order to avoid the pursuit of precision because it makes their brains hurt. obviously...

Re: 260ai loaders

Too many good choices! :-) I was even thinking today maybe I should do a 6.5x47 as I've got about 4 sets of dies and a fair bit of odd brass laying around from my match barrels. not really a hot 6.5 but what it lacks in capacity the case handles in pressure. Yep another great round, that just works!...

Re: 260ai loaders

If it's a hunting gun 2209 is the ticket for barrel length,if you are bothered forming 22-250 lapua brass the creedmoor is my pick,I've had mine to 2900+ fps with 140 vld's with no serious pressure but it would wreck the Hornady brass.

Re: 6.5-284 loads

2213sc worked a charm for me,I was at 51.8 for 3007fps with 140vld's ,it was throated long so as always,
Start low and work up.

Re: Who is making rifle rest?

These are by no means cheap but they look pretty damn nice.
