Re: Dual Stop Butts

Yeh, we shoot 600yrds on our main butts at North Arm and a hundred yrds further up the range is our 700yrd butts, shot from the same mound as we shoot 600. FB_IMG_1475129596802.jpg Sorry for the shitty photo, but, 600 is below the first lot of numbers and 700 is above the second set. Both shot from ...

Re: Sighting Problems

Hi Brad, I've used the glasses, the lense on the rear sight, and am now using a dioptre. I found the glasses hard to set up correctly. I know a lot of people use them very well, but I had trouble with them. The rear mounted lense was good and did me very well, but with my eyes being as shit as they ...

Re: Carbon cleaning methods curious after borescoping club barrels

Until just a couple of weeks ago, I didn't take that much regard for cleaning. Just a, what I know now to be a complimentary pass with a spear jag would do. My groups had slowly gone to shit over the last 6 month's until I met up with my brother in law down at Wingham. In absolutely perfect conditio...

Re: What calibre?

Dont discout the 6br Ackley improved. We have one on our range. Less hassle with fire forming than the dasher and an improvement on the br case for capacity Good luck for the wife......, but we all know that you want to ditch those iron sights and come over to the enlightened side :) this rifle is ...

Re: What calibre?

Cool, thanks for your comments. 6br it will be then. pjifl, the rifle won't be anywhere near weight so natural recoil will be bit of an issue.

What calibre?

Hey guys, I'm looking at setting up a f class rifle for the Mrs to use. I'm thinking along the lines of a 6br. Accurate and with bugger all recoil. Now, I was just looking at dies and the option of a 6mm ppc appeared. What is the difference between them and do they use the same cases? I remember rea...

Re: promoting the nraa image

I'm all for the blood donation idea. But can I suggest the donation after shooting. Especially for t/r shooters. Last time I gave vlood in the morning and shot after it didn't go well. Granted it was pretty warm weather, but I won't be doing it again.

Just out of interest, how long ago were the 144 the only bullet being used?
