Re: Shooting in Commonwealth Games
The Target Rifle pairs, with Benn Emms and Jim Bailey shooting together will be on Tuesday 10th and the individuals will be on Thursday 12th. I'm not working those days so I will be scanning the games channels for footage. Rod, the pairs are on Monday and Tuesday and the individual is on Wednesday,...

Re: Shooting in Commonwealth Games
It was good to see the commentators talking so freely about the shooters, and not just the shotguns for a change. The only down side to it is as it stands at the moment, the Queens event (fullbore) won't be televised on free to air tele. I mentioned it on on of Shooting Australia's facebook shares t...

Sorry I won't be much help. When we went to 8 targets we just pinched 2 frames from the 700 butts.

Nah just kidding. I never said I didn't like being behind them, just not beside them.

Re: PRS IS COMING , WE HAVE TO EVOLVE !
I'm not too sure what the condition of your Range benches are but I've shot and shot along side braked rifles for years and never had that problem. Personally I think this "Muzzle Brake " problem is blown out of all perspective and to be honest a lot is just hearsay. Regards jb The consta...

Tassie Queens??
What's happened to the Tassie queens with numbers. Have the ammo laws on the boat over there made this big a difference? Or am I missing something else.

Inconsistent firing pin strike with a twist
Hey guys, I just checking out the cases that my old 98 mauser has shot over the last couple of weeks. They are nraa Winchester rounds, 1st fire in the old girl. The inconsistencies that I'm talking about is that on some of the primers, the pin strike is centered on the primer and others are quite of...

Re: Victorian Queens Series - 2018
Alan and Matt, fare enough. I wasn't aware that there was trouble with them previously. I was more or less reflecting on my own situation where I won the the NRAA b grade Queens in 2016 and wasn't able to get to the 2017 Queens because of work. To which I had a few people asking if I didn't go becau...

Re: Victorian Queens Series - 2018
Yeh, but, Alan, out of the 27 that didn't go in 2017, how many were because of the targets and how many were because of work/other commitments? I personally prefer paper at comps, especially queens, but it's a big call blaming just the targets for a decline in numbers without actually asking those t...

Trigger adjustments
There was i post on here somewhere not that long ago about how to adjust trigger pull weights on different triggers. At least I think it was here. Can someone please point me in the right direction, because I'm buggered if I can find it. I was looking for the one with the curved blade Davies trigger...

You'd be better off using the 8208. It's similar to 2206 I believe.
